There are many excellent restaurants to have lunch at in Big Sky, however none have quite the view of Big Sky Resort’s Everett’s 8800!
Not only do you get to dine at an exquisite restaurant, but you also get to take a chair lift ride to the top of Andesite Mountain. From here you can enjoy your lunch with a view of Lone Peak that many don’t get to experience. Everett’s 8800 is normally only open for lunch during the ski season, but Big Sky Resort’s newest summer lunch option is a hit with locals and guests alike.
Serving American Alpine Fare, there is sure to be something on the menu for all. If you prefer to dine inside there is an exceptional lunch menu. They serve up everything from elk chili to Käseschnitte Grilled Cheese to a Steelhead entrée. They also offer specialty lunch items each day. For those who want to soak up some Vitamin D outdoors, there is a large outdoor patio with a specific lunch menu featuring an Alpine Cheese and Meat Plate, a Bison “Bacon Bleu” Sausage grilled on the deck right in front of you, a Quinoa Salad and more! View the full lunch menu.
In addition to this excellent restaurant, kids can enjoy Big Sky Resort’s new Adventure Mountain! At the top of Ramcharger Lift, kids can enjoy a bungee trampoline, a kids’ zipline, gemstone mining, and more! With the Adventure Mountain unlimited pass for $52, kids will get access to the activities at Adventure Mountain, plus the kids ropes course, the smokejumper giant swing, a scenic lift ticket, the on-belay climbing wall and one bag of mining sluice! Adventure Mountain day passes are also sold
in one, three, or five time tickets.
This mountain top restaurant was originally constructed in 2007, and reopened in December of 2014 as Everett’s 8800. So how did Everett’s 8800 get its name? Well, the elevation of the restaurant stands on the top of Andesite Mountain at 8,800 feet and in 1976, Everett Kircher brought Big Sky Resort into the Boyne Resorts family. So when you combine the two you get Everett’s 8800.
This summer, Everett’s 8800 will be serving lunch beginning at 11:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Be sure to call (406) 995-8800 or get online to reserve your lunch spot. This is one meal you won’t forget!
