In 2016, Mountainfilm on Tour stopped in Big Sky, Montana for the first time.
The one-night only film festival was the 1st event of its kind in Big Sky and it was a total success! In 2017, both locals and guests alike are excited for the return of Mountainfilm on Tour in Big Sky. Mark your calendars for both Friday, September 15 and Saturday, September 16 because this year the event will be a two night event!
If you’re a film fanatic, an outdoor enthusiast, Big Sky local, or out-of-towner, you’re going to want to check out the fantastic selection of films that will be featured on Friday and Saturday evening at Mountainfilm on Tour in Big Sky 2017.
As part of the Telluride Mountainfilm Festival On Tour, the Big Sky stop will feature “a collection of films meant to inspire and educate audiences to create a better world.” These films are inspiring, motivating, exciting, thought-provoking, and informative – plus, they might even change the way you choose to live your life.
Mountainfilm on Tour in Big Sky 2017 is brought to you by the Arts Council Of Big Sky and the presenting sponsor is Grizzly Outfitters. The events will take place at Warren Miller Performing Arts Center (WMPAC) on Friday, September 15 and at Lone Peak Cinema on Saturday, September 16. We hope to see you both nights!
