Let's all give a big round of applause to the Arts Council of Big Sky. Every summer they fill our little mountain town with top notch music that everyone enjoys. One event that everyone is looking forward to is the 6th Annual Big Sky Classical Music Festival. Are you excited for summer in Big Sky?
The 6th Annual Big Sky Classical Music Festival will take place on August 12 to 14, 2016. That's Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Come and join the Arts Council of Big Sky and watch world class classical music featuring some of the hottest local, regional, and national musicians. This is an event that should not be missed.

Come to the Warren Miller Performing Arts Center at 7:30 PM when guitarist Ana Vidovic and violinist Angella Ahn take the stage to kickoff this weekend of classical music under the Big Sky. Tickets will be required for this event.

Saturday's FREE event will take place at Center Stage in Big Sky Town Center Park in Big Sky, Montana. Listen as the M5 Mexican Brass Ensemble, Mexico's leading Brass Quintet, brings the mountains to life.

Sunday's FREE event will also take take place at Center Stage in Big Sky Town Center Park at 5 PM. Come and watch as Maestro Peter Bay conducts the Big Sky Festival Orchestra at the final show of the 6th Annual Big Sky Classical Music Festival. The orchestra consists of musicians from Austin, Salt Lake, and Fort Wayne symphonies along with some of best local and regional talent. This year's theme will be "Beethoven Meets Rodrigo In The Mountains" and it will bring a Latin flair to the traditional classical sound. Ana Vidovic will join the orchestra to perform Rodrigo's "Concierto de Aranjuez."
The entire weekend of August 12 to 14 is going to be incredible. Plan ahead. Mark your calendars. Do not miss this once in a summer event. The music, the atmosphere, and the festival are going to be top notch. Add in the Big Sky Farmer's Market on Wednesday and Music In The Mountains on Thursday and the entire week is going to be non-stop fun.
