Skiing & Snowboarding
Biggest Skiing in America
Skiing Big Sky Resort
|Big Sky Resort is a world-class mountain where the skiing, just like the snow, is big. On average, 400 inches of powder fall on 5,850 skiable acres. More than 2,300 of those acres are dedicated to beginner and intermediate terrain, which ski instructors call the best for learning to ski. 300 degrees of skiing off of Lone Peak means you’ll never ski the same line twice. Carve down 4,350 vertical feet of skiing – the most in the state of Montana. Offering more than an acre per skier on average, Big Sky provides serious elbow room. Big Sky is also home to the most technologically-advanced chairlift network in North America. No matter if you are learning how to ski or a seasoned vet, Big Sky Resort will leave you perma-grinning from a uniquely Montana experience.|
|Take your skiing or riding to the next level with Mountain Sports School at Big Sky Resort. Whether it's improving your technique, learning a new lifelong sport, or looking to learn the ins and outs of the mountain, Big Sky Resort's diverse staff of certified instructors brings a wealth of knowledge and enjoyment to your Big Sky experience. With 5,850 acres of skiable terrain, ski instructors and mountain guides can help you navigate the mountain and make the best of your experience.
