HIKING
Off the beaten path.

There’s something to lacing your hiking boots up and hitting the open trail. You’ve done the research and know distance and elevation gain, but it’s only once you get to take in the vibrancy of the wildflowers, the cool mist of a mountain stream or the fragrant wind blowing through a forest of trees do you really remember what you’re here for. You’re here for an adventure all your own, to discover what Big Sky has hidden around every bend and up every trail head.
Big Sky is located in the heart of the Custer Gallatin National Forest and 15 miles from the Yellowstone National Park boundary meaning that there are countless miles of trail for you to explore.
