Wednesday, May 3 | The Wilson Hotel & Virtually using this link
Breakfast at 8:00am | Presentation from 8:30 – 10:00am
Big Sky is a special place with a diverse workforce and community but there are some gaps in our understanding and a lack of services that exist to support this tapestry of people in a truly robust and meaningful way. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) work allows us to do what’s right for our people while also doing what’s good for our organizations at the same time. It’s a win-win because all people deserve fairness, respect, access, support, safety, opportunity, and a sense of belonging in our Big Sky community.
Join us for a discussion on this important workforce and community issue and learn about the work being done currently and where we hope to grow as a town and region. We’ll have Dylan Thornton of the Belonging in Big Sky group & Hale Creative Consulting to speak to Big Sky specifically, Dani Hess from the City of Bozeman to talk about Belonging in Bozeman, Meshayla Cox of CoEquity Consulting to look at trends in the state and nation, and Hannah Bratterud of Purpose & Performance Group to discuss creating an inclusive culture in the workplace.
Immediately following this discussion, we will be hosting the Joint Gallatin – Madison Commissioner Meeting with the Resort Tax Board.
