April in Big Sky isn’t just about spring skiing — it’s about live music, mountain dance parties, and the return of legendary traditions. Big Sky Resort is bringing back its Spring Series, giving visitors four weekends of can’t-miss entertainment on the slopes. From electronic beats to the splashy return of Pond Skim, here’s everything you need to plan your ultimate April mountain getaway.

Spring Series at Big Sky Resort

Weekend 1: Spring Series Après Kickoff (April 4–6)

Spring Series kicks off with Big Gigantic, delivering a genre-bending live electronic set for an unforgettable mountain concert experience in The Bowl on Saturday, April 4.

After the show, head to the Mountain Village Plaza for high-energy après fun with Rell & Rose, whose electrifying beats keep the party going. Don’t miss a classic Big Sky tradition at the Umbrella Bar — their iconic shot ski is the ultimate spring skiing rite of passage.

Weekend 2: me n ü & Pond Skim (April 11)

Weekend 2 brings one of spring’s most anticipated events: Pond Skim. On Saturday, April 11, me n ü provides an upbeat “hope house” soundtrack in The Bowl, setting the stage for skiers and snowboarders in creative costumes to glide across icy waters.

Prizes are awarded for Best Costume, Biggest Splash, and Best Trick, adding to the fun and festive atmosphere. Après continues in the Mountain Village Plaza with music, drinks, and mountain vibes to keep the celebration going.

Weekend 3: Łaszewo Takes The Bowl (April 18)

Weekend 3 features electronic-pop trio Łaszewo in The Bowl on Saturday, April 18. Known for hits like messy and HIGHJACK (right back), Łaszewo blends emotive vocals with danceable beats — the perfect soundtrack for sunny spring turns and lively mountain energy.

Après in the Mountain Village Plaza continues throughout the weekend, giving visitors a full day of music, skiing, and celebration.

Weekend 4: Tinashe DJs & Closing Weekend Celebrations (April 25–27)

Big Sky Resort's season finale goes out with serious star power. On Saturday, April 25, multi‑platinum artist Tinashe takes over The Bowl for an electrifying DJ set. Her genre-blending sound — rooted in R&B, pop, and hip-hop — brings a festival-level vibe to the mountain, making this a must-see performance for spring visitors.

The celebration continues off the slopes with après in the Mountain Village Plaza, featuring drinks, music, and sunshine-soaked mountain views. It’s the perfect way to wrap up the season and toast to another unforgettable winter in Big Sky.

Know Before You Go:

All Spring Series events in The Bowl are ski and snowboard access only — pedestrian access is not permitted. To attend, you’ll need a valid lift ticket or season pass for the day of your visit.

These events draw large crowds, so plan your day accordingly. Parking fills quickly, and traffic can be heavy, so consider carpooling, arriving early, and planning a safe ride home. With a little preparation, you can focus on the music, mountain views, and après fun without any stress.
