Public Transportation

Big Sky has several local transportation services that provide convenient and affordable options for getting to and around town.

The Skyline Bus runs 7 days a week in the summer and winter. The most used route is the Canyon-Mountain loop. This loop includes stops at Big Sky Resort mountain village, Big Sky's town center, and the Rainbow Ranch Lodge in the canyon. There is no cost to ride the Skyline Bus. However, you are limited to the bus schedule.

Skyline also offers The Link, an easy and reliable option for getting to and from Bozeman. Pick-ups are at various locations around the Bozeman and Big Sky areas, but they do NOT include a stop at the airport.

The Skyline Connect is a fare-free, on-demand service that uses an app to request rides. It only operates between Big Sky's meadow village Center, town center, and adjacent areas. It does not include rides up the mountain or into the canyon.
