Since its inception in 1989, the Arts Council of Big Sky has been Big Sky’s premier non-profit cultural organization, striving to create an art-centric community through artistic events, cultural outreach, public art, and educational initiatives. Historic Crail Ranch Museum

Step back in time at the Historic Crail Ranch Museum, where you can explore the 1902 homestead of the Crail family. This rustically preserved log cabin offers a firsthand glimpse into the lives of Big Sky’s early settlers, showcasing a rich collection of artifacts, photographs, and documents that narrate the area’s history, including its Native American and fur trapping heritage.

Music in the Mountains Summer Concerts 

Experience the rhythm of Big Sky at the Music in the Mountains summer concert series. Held every Thursday evening from late June through early September in Len Hill Park, these free concerts feature a diverse lineup of musical acts, ranging from classical to country. Put on by the Arts Council of Big Sky, it’s a family-friendly outing where adults can mingle and children can play safely in the park. Pack a picnic dinner or grab a bite from one of the many food and drink vendors to enjoy an evening of eats, sips, and dancing beneath the wide-open BIG Sky!

Warren Miller Performing Arts Center 

For a taste of world-class performances, visit the Warren Miller Performing Arts Center (WMPAC). Located 10 minutes from Town Center, this state-of-the-art facility acts and serves as a hub for local arts organizations and performers. Named in honor of ski movie icon Warren Miller, the center embodies the bridge between skiing and the arts, fostering a community of confident performers and inspired audiences.
