Big Sky offers three main options for downhill skiing or snowboarding. With many different options for lift tickets, you're sure to find a combination that works for you. Together, Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin boast more than 5,500 acres of skiable terrain.
Another excellent option is cross-country skiing at Lone Mountain Ranch. LMR maintains over 85 km of scenic and serene trails, ideal for both classic cross-country and skate skiing.

After an exciting day of activities and perhaps a relaxing soak in the hot tub, dinner will likely be the next thing on your mind. Lone Mountain Ranch hosts a charming, old-fashioned Sleigh Ride Dinner every evening. Do make reservations in advance, as these dinners are popular and tend to book up. Big Sky is home to many fantastic eateries, including The Cabin, where you can enjoy delectable seafood, steaks, and wild game. Choppers Grub and Pub offers the best burgers in Big Sky in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Andiamo’s has delicious Italian cuisine. The Lotus Pad offers delectable, authentic Thai and Asian dishes, Olive B’s is Big Sky’s yummiest bistro, and Blue Moon Bakery serves hand-tossed pizzas or sandwiches made with freshly baked bread. Be glad there are (at least) three meals in a day - even with just 36 hours, you’ll be able to sample an abundance of Big Sky’s best!
