HORSING AROUND
There’s something truly special about exploring Big Sky from the back of a horse. It’s your chance to see hidden corners of our wild spaces, from gentle wildflower-filled meadows to vast backcountry vistas. Our local outfitters offer everything from easy, family-friendly rides that last an hour to longer, full-day adventures for those who want to go deeper. A guided horseback tour is a fantastic way to slow down and connect with nature. You’ll be at a comfortable walking pace, and the horses are calm and well-trained, so even beginners will feel at ease. Our experienced guides love sharing their local knowledge and will be right there to help you every step of the way. It’s an experience many visitors call a “must-do,” not just for the stunning views, but for the unique chance to learn about horses up close.
