We have a dedicated Workforce Development Manager working to bring resources and opportunities to address challenges that businesses face, including youth entrepreneurship and our Big Sky-Futures program, Human Resources needs, and support of the supplemental J-1 and H-2B international workforce program. Additionally, we have the region’s top leadership development program, Leadership Big Sky, where participants learn the ins and outs of doing business in Big Sky and valuable leadership skills, as well as have access to stakeholders and decision-makers across the region who are working on top challenges.
Leadership Big Sky
Emerging leaders in the region are invited to participate in the Big Sky Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming Leadership Big Sky Program. The immersive course will provide an opportunity to experience an in-depth look at the public, private and non-profit organizations and partnerships that have allowed Big Sky to develop into the wonderful community it has become.
HR Community Meeting
Do you have an HR Representative or someone that wears the HR hat for your organization that would like to connect with other HR professionals in Big Sky? The HR Community is a group of HR professionals of all levels that meet to support each other, connect with the community, and stay updated on all things HR.
Big Sky-Futures
Big Sky-Futures is a program designed to help high school students better grasp different career paths before going to college or work. Once a month, we bring in different business leaders to help students explore career opportunities in the community. Connect with local employers to learn and consider prospective vocations, internships, and summer jobs through a series of guest speakers and a career fair.

Belonging in Big Sky is a community-wide diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging (DEIB) initiative supporting the diverse communities that live and work in Big Sky through funding, community education, and events.
